Presidents of Poland and Germany congratulate Serzh Sargsyan
The President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on his re-election as Armenian President. The congratulatory message particularly reads:
“As a longtime friend of Armenia and a country supporting its closer ties with the European Union, Poland welcomes the reforms implemented in Armenia, broadening of democracy and the formation of civil society”.
It is stated in the message that Poland will help and support Armenia in the negotiations on the EU Association Agreement and issues related to the creation of a deep and comprehensive free trade zone with EU countries.
Serzh Sargsyan also received a congratulatory message from German President Joachim Gauck. The message particularly reads:
“On behalf of my people and myself, I cordially congratulate you on the new phase in your presidency and wish you every happiness and success.
With great hopes, Germany is following the political and economic reforms in your country and will remain Armenia’s reliable partner both in bilateral relations and within the framework of the European Union”.
