E. Nalbandian meets Austrian parliament members

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met yesterday with the Second President of Austrian parliament Fritz Neugebauer and MPs, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

The meeting participants discussed issues related to the development of Armenian-Austrian cooperation and the promotion of parliamentary ties between the two countries. An agreement was reached to organize a visit of Austria-Armenia parliamentary friendship group to Yerevan.

The sides also touched upon the recent presidential election in Armenia. In this connection, the Austrian MPs present at the meeting who had carried out the observation mission in Armenia, said that the election was held in line with international standards.

At the request of Austrian MPs, Edward Nalbandian spoke about Armenia’s and the international community’s efforts on the Karabakh conflict settlement.

On the same day Edward Nalbandian gave an interview to Austria Press Agency, in which he discussed Armenia’s foreign policy and the reforms in the country.
