Vardan Sedrakian taken into two-month custody

Former presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakian has been taken into two-month custody. The correspondent of Aysor.am reports from the court that the general jurisdiction court of Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts has granted the petition of Armenia’s National Security Service.

In connection with the attempted murder committed against the former presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikian, NSS filed a petition for Sedrakian’s arrest to the general jurisdiction court of Kentron and Nor-Marash districts.

Sources of Aysor.am reported earlier that V. Sedrakian was in NSS and that he was expected to be transported to the general jurisdiction court of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts where a decision on his arrest as a sanction was to be taken.
