Serzh Sargsyan receives Lithuanian foreign minister

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Antanas Linkevicius.

The sides discussed issues related to the development of relations between Armenia and the European Union and exchange of experience in the European integration process, the presidential press service reported. The interlocutors stressed the importance of cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Project.

The sides underlined the need of strengthening Armenian-Lithuanian interstate relations and encouraging cooperation in a number of spheres such as defense, education, science and culture. Regional problems were also discussed at the meeting.
