Oil product marketing and delivery enterprise to be set up in Armenia
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today a delegation led by CEO of Rostneft Company Igor Sechin, the government’s press service reported.
The prime minister welcomed the project of setting up an oil product marketing and delivery joint venture in Armenia on the initiative of Rosneft and Oil Techno Companies, noting that Armenia is interested in the project. “We are glad that such a serious investor will enter the Armenian market and we will do our best so that the project will be implemented successfully,” he stated.
In the words of Igor Sechin, in Armenia there is much potential for the delivery of oil products such as aviation fuel, gasoline, and diesel fuel and they consider it an honor to create a platform for such cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a cooperation agreement with the aim of setting up an oil product delivery and marketing joint venture was signed between Rosneft and Oil Techno Companies, in the presence of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The agreement was signed by Oil Techno CEO Arthur Alaverdian and Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin.
