ARFD will not attend Sargsyan’s inauguration

ARF-Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary faction has issued a statement, saying that the faction members will not participate in the April 9 special session of the National Assembly, during which the swearing-in ceremony of President Serzh Sargsyan will be held.

In the statement, ARFD pointed out a number of internal political and economic problems, including emigration, poverty, and social polarization, which undermine national unity and weaken Armenian statehood.

“In case of the authorities’ political will and efficient steps on the implementation of radical reforms, ARFD will take a respective attitude,” the statement reads.
