Tigran Sargsyan appointed Prime Minister of Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed today a decree on the appointment of Tigran Sargsyan as Prime Minister of Armenia.

Pursuant to Article 55 point 4 of the Constitution of Armenia, the president decided to appoint Tigran Sargsyan as the Prime Minister of Armenia, the presidential press service reported.

Tigran Sargsyan has held the post of Prime Minister since April 9, 2008. Prior to that, he was Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia.
