Police: No policeman carried firearms on April 9

“Aravot” newspaper today published a report, in which the deputy chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosian claims that one of the policemen on Baghramian Avenue on April 9 was armed with a submachine gun. In a statement today, the press service of the police refuted the information.

“We officially state that during the mass events held on April 9, none of the policemen maintaining public order carried firearms,” the police statement reads.
