Tovmasian: Genocide should not be subject of speculation
“The 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide is neither a beginning nor an end of something. It is a struggle for justice and is carried on not only by the Armenian people,” Acting Minister of Justice of Armenia Hrayr Tovmasian told journalists at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial today.
In his words, one should not make the fact of the Genocide a subject of speculation, while relations with other countries should not be used as playing cards.
“There have been cases in history when a nation struggled to achieve a goal for over a hundred year, but failed to do it. We will achieve results one day. Both the Armenian people and mankind need this result to ensure that such crimes are never repeated,” Tovmasian said.
