Armenian president issues message on International Labor Day

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan issued a message on the occasion of International Labor Day observed on May 1. S. Sargsyan said that fruits of creative activities of the Armenians can be seen in all parts of the world, but “we create our greatest achievements in Armenia”.

“We must build a state, in which our best traditions are preserved and passed on to future generations. Armenia must keep pace with the times, adopting not only innovations, but also the most progressive forms and standards of labor organization and protection of the rights of workers,” the message reads.

The president wished peaceful and creative activities to the Armenian people for the prosperity of families and the further development of the country.
