Taron Margarian: I am grateful to people whose criticism helped us

On the last day of the election campaign for the May 5 elections to the Yerevan Council of Elders, the incumbent Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margarian, who tops the list of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), delivered an address to the voters:

“The time allotted for election campaigning has run out quickly. Tens of thousands of citizens took part in our events. During this time, I together with the members of my team had the opportunity to inform you once again about the work done, hear about your problems, and to present our new programs.

The contacts with you gave us new strength, emotions and ideas. I am grateful to the people whose criticism helped us better understand the problems of Yerevan and become closer to each resident of the city. I am also grateful to our political opponents, all the political forces running in the elections for their concern about Yerevan problems and their desire to be of use to city residents.

May 5 is an important day for the new history of our ancient city. Let’s create that day together, let’s build out capital city together. By electing us, you will have the opportunity to expect better results from our work and live in better conditions.
