Recount of votes done in two districts at HAK’s request

Armenian National Congress (HAK) Party filed an application to the Central Election Commission of Armenia, requesting that a recount of votes cast in the May 5 elections to Yerevan Council of Elders be done and the results at some polling stations be invalidated.

Ms. Zoya Tadevosian who was number two on HAK’s list of candidates told Aysor.am that the recount has already began in Avan and Arabkir administrative districts of Yerevan.

“We will act consistently in this matter,” she said.
