Prime minister introduces newly-appointed ministers to staff

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan introduced today the newly-appointed Chief of the Government Staff Vatche Gabrielian, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Yuri Vardanian, Minister of Economy Vahram Avanesian, and Minister of Finance David Sargsyan to the employees of their departments.

Tigran Sargsyan said that the position of the Government Staff’s chief will henceforth have ministerial status and V. Gabrielian will coordinate reforms in science, healthcare, and administrative apparatus, the press service of the government reported.

The former Minister of Economy Tigran Davtian will represent Armenia in WTO. “His task is to promote exports from Armenia,” the prime minister said.

“We are going to carry out serious reforms, with the Ministry of Finance shouldering most of the burden. I am sure that the new Minister David Sargsyan will cope with his tasks,” the prime minister noted.
