CEC announces composition of Yerevan Council of Elders

The Central Election Commission of Armenia held a regular sitting today. CEC invalidated the registration of 21 candidates of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and 113 candidates of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), based on the applications of those candidates for the Yerevan Council of Elders who were included in the proportional lists of parties, the press service of CEC reports.

The commission made a decision about election of 17 people on BHK list, 6 people on Hello Yerevan bloc of parties’ list, and 42 people on HHK list as members of the Yerevan Council of Elders. The CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchian announced the composition of the newly-elected Council of Elders.

Thus the following candidates of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) were elected members of the Yerevan Council of Elders:
