Serviceman shoots at fellow soldiers, kills one

Private of Armenia’s armed forces David Khachatrian shot at fellow soldiers from his AKM automatic rifle at 3:30 pm yesterday, killing Private Lyuks Stepanian and wounding Private Hrachia Sargsyan who was hospitalized.

A criminal case was opened under Article 104 Part 6 point 2 of the Criminal Code, the press service of the Defense Ministry reports.

David Khachatrian was detained. An investigation is underway.
