Seyran Ohanian: Serious work done in military psychology

Serious work has been done in military psychology in recent years, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian said during the Main Goals of Military Psychology conference held at the Defense Ministry today. Among the participants are heads and representatives of various units of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, heads of military and civilian educational institutions, and numerous experts.

The conference aims to use the existing potential of military psychologists for the successful research and application of knowledge in this field.

In his speech, S. Ohanian stressed that the development of military psychology is part of military reforms.

“We are now on the path of establishing a psychological service in the armed forces of Armenia. We should have the relevant staff in our military units and make efforts to set up this system. The victory in the Karabakh war gives us a great advantage that we must maintain,” Ohanian said.

He expressed hope that the discussions will be efficient.
