Earthquake strikes 7 km southwest of Spitak

A 2.9-magnitude earthquake struck 7 kilometers southwest of the city of Spitak in Armenia at 2:16 pm today, the Seismic Protection Service reported.The earthquake measured 4 points on the Richter scale at the epicenter and 3 points in the cities of Vanadzor and Spitak.
