Serzh Sargsyan meets with Polish president
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on an official visit to Poland, has met today with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, according to the Armenian president’s press service.
After the welcoming ceremony of the Armenian president held at the residence of the president of Poland, bilateral talks of the two presidents took place, followed by talks in an enlarged format. Then the ceremony of signing the documents on development of Armenian-Polish cooperation in a number of spheres was held.
In particular, the sides signed: the agreement on the development of international transportation between the governments of Armenia and Poland, the memorandum of understanding on the fight against customs violations and the development of relations between the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and the Customs Service of Poland, the agreement on cooperation in agriculture between the Agriculture Ministry of Armenia and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, and the declaration about intentions to cooperate on nature protection between the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia and the Ministry of Environment of Poland.
The two presidents summarized the results of bilateral talks at a joint press conference.
