Serzh Sargsyan receives Commissioner Stefan Fule

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule.

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with Armenia-EU relations and the negotiating process over the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement, and cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program, according to the presidential press service.

The sides also stressed with satisfaction the progress in cooperation on mobility, noting that the Visa Facilitation Agreement and the Readmission Agreement were signed and are not in the stage of ratification.

Commissioner Fule spoke about preparatory work for the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.

Serzh Sargsyan stated that Armenia is determined to press head with large-scale reforms in a number of spheres in the country, while anticipating more assistance with their implementation.
