Defense minister meets with dead soldier’s parents

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian received the parents of conscript, Private Gabriel Lalazarian who was found dead, hanging from an antenna mast in a military unit of Defense Ministry on July 5.

According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, Seyran Ohanian expressed his condolences to the soldier’s parents Arbik Lalazarian and Anahit Hayrapetian. He assured them that the investigation service and the military police are taking all the necessary measures envisaged by the law to establish the circumstances of the incident and the truth through a complete and comprehensive investigation.

The parents of the dead soldier said they trust the defense minister and law enforcement agencies of the Defense Ministry. They expressed readiness to assist the ministry with the investigation.
