Sharmazanov: Azerbaijan’s actions threaten regional stability

The arms race unleashed by Azerbaijan threatens regional stability, Vice Speaker of the Armenian parliament Edward Sharmazanov said at the meeting with Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarusian parliament Vladimir Andreychenko.

Andreychenko said for his part that Belarus is in favor of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict’s settlement by peaceful means only.

The interlocutors appreciated the high level of inter-parliamentary links between Armenia and Belarus and stressed the importance of cooperation in international organizations. It was mentioned that the economic ties are notably inferior to the level of political relations.
