Shabby housecoat to be handed to Russian ambassador

The youth wing of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party and Nikol Aghbalian student council will stage a protest outside the Russian embassy in Yerevan today. They will protest against the degrading treatment of Hrachia Harutyunian, the alleged perpetrator of the car accident near the city of Podolsk, in which 18 people were killed on July 13.

In their statement, the organizers express their condolences to the families of those killed in the crash, but at the same time they consider such behavior of Russian law enforcers as unacceptable.

The protesters plan to hand a shabby housecoat to the Russian ambassador.
