Armenian president offers condolences to King of Spain

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a telegram of condolence to Juan Carlos I of Spain in connection with the train derailment in the Galicia region of Spain, according to the presidential press service. The accident left more than 70 people dead.

“Sharing your grief and the grief of the people of Spain, I wish fortitude to the families of victims and a speedy recovery to wounded people,” reads the president’s telegram.

We would remind you that yesterday a train derailed in north-western Spain, killing 78 people and injuring more than 100. All eight carriages of the train, which was travelling from Madrid to Ferrol, came off the tracks near the city of Santiago de Compostela, the capital of the Galicia region.
