Police looking for suspect who stabbed bus driver

Erebuni police station of Yerevan received a call at 3:20 pm yesterday that 33-year-old Alexan G. was admitted to hospital with a stab wound. The man said he was stabbed by an unknown person near Russia Cinema in Yerevan.

Alexan G. told policemen in the hospital that around 2:40 pm on July 25 an argument broke out in Gazel minibus # 67 he was driving, near Russia Cinema. One of the passengers argued with him, refusing to pay additional 50 drams of the new fare. During the argument the passenger stabbed the driver Alexan G. in the left arm and injured him.

Police are looking for the suspect. Forensic tests will be conducted, the press service of police said.
