Shop of domestically produced goods opens in Yerevan

The Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia established a Union of Light Industry which has already managed in the past year to draw the government’s attention to the need to develop light industry.

The Union of Light Industry has opened the first shop of light industry goods, according to the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen. High-quality clothes, footwear, hosiery and other items made in Armenia are available in the shop. Among the many items on sale are goods of such companies as Tosp, Lux, Lida, Melante, and others. If the program proves successful, there are plans to open similar shops in other regions of the country.
