Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian takes 2nd prize at Maringa open

GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian scored 6.5 points out of 8 and took the 2nd prize among 233 participants at the open held in Maringa, Brazil. FM Armen Proudian’s result was 5.5 points, according to Armenia’s Chess Federation.

The winner of the tournament with 7.5 points was GM Sandro Mareco (Argentina).
