David Karapetian appointed deputy minister of emergency situations
By a decision of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, David Karapetian has been appointed Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, the government’s press service reported.
D. Karapetain was born on 25 August 1981 in the city of Goris. He is an expert on Oriental studies. He previously worked as spokesman for the defense minister, later as an advisor to the secretary of the National Security Council.
In 2012-2013 he was Armenia’s deputy minister of the Diaspora.
