Armenian president offers condolences over Levon Ananian’s death

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence to the family of the late Chairman of the Union of Armenia’s Writers, publicist and translator Levon Ananian, the presidential press service reported.

‘He made a considerable contribution to our social and political journalism, translation, and the organization of publishing and literary life.

I express my deep condolences to Levon Ananian’s family and relatives and the literary community which he served with great devotion and energy,” the telegram reads.
