OSCE Mission to conduct planned monitoring on September 13

In accordance with an agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, on September 13 the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Askeran direction, the NKR Foreign Ministry said.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic). The newly-appointed U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick will also participate in the monitoring.

The authorities of the NKR expressed readiness to assist with monitoring and ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
