Advocates ask president to bestow Honored Advocate title on Sahakian

The Council of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia took a decision yesterday to file a petition to the Armenian president. They will ask the president to bestow the tile of Honored Advocate on Ruben Sahakian, PastInfo new agency was informed by Levon Ter-Avetikian, Chief of the Staff of the Chamber of Advocates. The decision was submitted to the Armenian president today.

Ruben Sahakian has been Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia in the past eight years.

The Chamber’s Council is an executive body. Its composition has recently changed as a result of the elections in March 2013. The Council is composed of 12 advocates.
