NKR president sends congratulatory message to Serzh Sargsyan

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian sent a congratulatory message to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on the 22nd anniversary of Armenia’s independence, the press service of the NKR President said.

The message reads:

“Honorable Mr. President,

I warmly congratulate you and the Armenians across the world on Independence Day!
22 years ago our people took a historic decision that changed dramatically the process of their further development. At last, independent Armenian statehood was restored, which had for centuries seemed unfeasible. The Armenians’ right to be the arbiter of their own destiny and to build their country on their own land was restored. It was a resolute step whose correctness and irreversibility has been proved throughout these years.

The Republic of Armenia is developing confidently, implementing various programs aimed at ensuring the security of people, raising the fighting efficiency, and improving the socioeconomic and living conditions of citizens. I am more than convinced that thanks to the indestructible Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity, the Armenian people will make new achievements and carry out national tasks.

I congratulate once again you and all our compatriots on the national holiday and wish you peace, good health, and every happiness for the sake of prosperity and strengthening of Mother Armenia”.
