Restored monument “We and Our Mountains” opens in Artsakh

The opening ceremony of the restored monument “We and Our Mountains”, which is the symbol of Artsakh, and the surrounding public garden took place today. The ceremony was attended by officials of Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia, Moscow-based benefactor Karen Avagumian who sponsored the restoration of the complex, Ashot Baghdasarian – the son of the monument’s sculptor Sargis Baghdasarian, and many guests, Karabakh-open.info said.

Congratulating those present on the monument’s restoration, Ashot Baghdasarian expressed his gratitude to those who helped to restore it.

Karen Avagumian stressed the need to assist the Homeland. He expressed hope that similar initiatives will soon be launched in other fields such as education, science, etc.
