RadioHay employees go on strike

The staff of RadioHay Radio Company went on strike in protest against an unscheduled audit of the State Revenue Committee (SRC).

The radio company considers as unfounded the SRC’s decision to conduct an audit of their financial activities since 2009.

“We consider it as an attempt to interfere in the affairs of independent mass media and restrict the freedom of expression,” the company said in a statement.

The strike will last until October 4.
