Armenian president receives Hellenic Defense General Staff chief

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff General Mikhail Kostarakos, the presidential press service reported.

S. Sargsyan said an active political dialog at the highest level and close cooperation in military, cultural and educational spheres have been established between Armenia and Greece in recent years.

During the meeting, the interlocutors stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary diplomacy, promotion of decentralized cooperation between the two countries, and their similar approaches to various problems on the international agenda.

The sides underlined the existence of great potential of Armenian-Greek cooperation and the need to use it efficiently.
