Armenia accounts for 5% of global microchip production

“Armenia accounts for 5% of global microchip production, both in terms of chip design and development, which is quite a high index,” Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated at ArmTec forum today.

He said Armenia also has a relative advantage in design specialization and all famous companies specializing in design keep Armenia at the center of their attention and send their employees to Armenia for retraining.
