Mayor demands completion of unfinished projects in Yerevan

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian met today with representatives of companies implementing large construction projects in Yerevan. According to the press service of Yerevan Municipality, the mayor said that the meeting was an opportunity to hold a discussion for the last time and urgently solve the problem of large buildings that remain incompleted in the past ten years.

The mayor proposed examining the problem with the chief architect of Yerevan and planning a schedule to complete construction work at a stated time.  He noted that the municipality is ready to assist with the problem’s solution. In his words, although the unfinished buildings and adjacent areas are private property, they should not remain in such a state and spoil the city’s appearance.
