Armenian president congratulates Vladimir Putin on birthday

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection of his birthday.

According to the presidential press service, the message reads:

‘Dear Mr. Putin!

I warmly congratulate you on your birthday.

I wish you good health and success in your services for the good of the Russian Federation. The large-scale reforms which have been carried out in the Russian Federation and undoubtedly contributed to the further strengthening of its positions on the international arena are inseparably connected with you name.

I want to emphasize your personal contribution to the promotion of Armenian-Russian allied cooperation and underline the significance of our personal trust-based relations, thanks to which the bilateral partnership agenda is developing, being enriched with important agreements in the political sphere as well as joint projects in trade, economy, scientific-technical and cultural-humanitarian fields.

Constructive cooperation of our states on a wide range of issues of international and regional agenda within the framework of the CIS and the CSTO, Eurasian integration processes and other multilateral formats creates broader opportunities for comprehensive development of our strategic partnership.

I am convinced that the consistent implementation of the agreements reached and our joint initiatives will further promote the friendship of our fraternal nations and strengthen regional stability and security.
