18 families in accident-prone buildings receive new apartments

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian today handed new apartment keys to eight families living in dormitory No 10 located in Lane 4 of Artsakhi Street and ten families of house 127/1 in 25th Street of Nor Aresh neighborhood.

According to the press service of Yerevan Municipality, the mayor congratulated the residents of new apartments, stressing that the important social program will continue and the municipality will do its best so that all residents of 4th degree accident-prone buildings will receive new apartments and live in safe and comfortable conditions.

The residents thanked the mayor for the implementation of such an important project. In their words, they lived for years in an atmosphere of fear, being deprived of normal living conditions.

According to the source, as part of Yerevan development programs, priority is given to problems of residents of 4th degree accident-prone buildings. In 2013, 116 families living in such buildings have received new apartments.
