Hraparak: Who will take over Vahan Hovhannisian’s seat in parliament?

Members of the ARFD Party say that the process of appointing Vahan Hovhannsian as Armenian ambassador to Germany will last long, ‘Hraparak’ writes. Nevertheless, discussions about the ARFD representative to replace V. Hovhannisian in the Armenian parliament are already being held. The paper notes that the most likely candidate – Aramais Grigorian will probably be appointed a governor, and the next person on the list is Mikael Manukian. According to the paper’s sources, M. Manukian will reject that opportunity and let Karen Shahmuradian – a business partner of Armenian ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukian - become a parliamentary deputy.
