President awards St. Mesrop Mashtots Order to Tigran Izmirlian

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met today with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Swiss Armenian benefactors Tigran and Yelena Izmirlians. S. Sargsyan highly appreciated the numerous charitable projects implemented by the Izmirlian Foundation in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, the presidential press service said.

The most recent important initiative is the reopening of the Izmirlian Medical Center.

The Armenian president presented St. Mesrop Mashtots Order to Tigran Izmirlian in recognition of his contribution to the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora ties and his continuous activities for the benefit of the Armenian people.
