Tigran Sargsyan receives Georgian agriculture minister

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today a delegation headed by Georgia’s Agriculture Minister Shalva Pipia, according to the press office of the Armenian government.

“We attach importance to the deepening of relations with Georgia. We will take steps so that these relations will produce concrete results,” T. Sargsyan stated.

He also underlined the importance of creating a favorable climate for cooperation of economic entities of the two countries.

The meeting participants discussed long-term directions of cooperation and deepening of bilateral links in agriculture. They exchanged views on the priorities of agricultural development in Armenia and Georgia as well as the programs implemented with state assistance.

Shalva Pipia thanked the Armenian prime minister for the reception and informed him about the results of the meetings and agreements reached in Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture and the State Revenue Committee.
