Martirosian: Independence of two Armenian states is highest value

The independence of two Armenian states is the highest value. It was gained thanks to the struggle of the Armenian people, the deputy chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosian said at a meeting with journalists, when commenting on writer Zori Balayan’s letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“All of us – regardless of whether we were at the front or in the rear, regardless of our social position and education - struggled for the independence of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh,” A. Martirosian said.

According to him, he would welcome the ideas expressed in Balayan’s letter as an alternative opinion, if it was the message of only Zori Balayan. However, Armen Martirosian sees a political process here.
