561 convicts released under amnesty as of October 18

The Judicial Department of Armenia published data on convicts who were released from penal institutions of Armenia as of 6:00 pm of October 18 in accordance with the RA National Assembly’s decision on the declaration of a general amnesty on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of Armenia’s independence:

Abovian prison                  17

A total of 558 convicts were released as of October 18.

According to the Convict Registration Unit of Justice Ministry’s Criminal Executive Department, three persons were released from Nubarashen and Vardashen prisons.
