Prime minister and Czech ambassador discuss bilateral cooperation
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today Czech Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Jestrab who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, the press office of the government said.
The prime minister stated that Armenia attaches importance to the expansion of relations with the Czech Republic in trade, economic, cultural and other spheres. “I am grateful to you for your work. The Czech Republic has a high level of development and broad experience in some spheres and we are interested in deepening our cooperation in those spheres,” he said.
The ambassador said for his part that the Czech Republic considers Armenia its friend and is interested in developing cooperation in all spheres. He thanked the prime minister for effective cooperation and warm reception.
The sides expressed satisfaction with intensive development of bilateral cooperation in recent years and stressed the importance of promoting trade and economic links and revealing new spheres which will enable to increase bilateral trade volumes.
According to the ambassador, a delegation of Czech businessmen will visit Armenia soon to get acquainted with investment opportunities in the country.
Tigran Sargsyan thanked the ambassador to his contribution to the development of Armenian-Czech relations and wished him success.
