Armenian president and P. Lefort discuss Armenia-EU relations

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today Special Representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort.

The sides discussed Armenia-EU relations and the reforms implemented in Armenia with the assistance of the EU, the presidential press service said.

Serzh Sargsyan and Philippe Lefort exchanged views on the regional situation and the negotiating process of the Karabakh conflict settlement. The sides stressed the importance and necessity of continuing efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs on the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict based on international principles.
