Nalbandian meets German foreign minister

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian paid a working visit to Berlin yesterday, the press service of the RA MFA said.
During the visit E. Nalbandian met with his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle.

Welcoming the Armenian foreign minister, G. Westerwelle said Armenia and Germany have excellent mutual relations. He stressed the high level of bilateral cooperation in various spheres thanks to efficient joint work.

“As a true friend, Germany will continue assisting with Armenia’s development,” Foreign Minister Westerwelle stated.

Edward Nalbandian noted with satisfaction that an active political dialog established between the two countries has received impetus in recent years, with cooperation deepening in various spheres.

The ministers expressed confidence that bilateral ties will strengthen and expand thanks to consistent joint efforts.
