MES: Yerevan metro services disrupted

According to preliminary information, the power cut in Yerevan and several Armenian provinces this morning was due to a malfunction of the electric power supply system, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) said.

Restoration work is underway. The power supply was already restored in some of Yerevan’s districts and several provinces.

MES also said the Yerevan metro services were disrupted. Passengers were evacuated. No one was injured.
