Babukhanian: Shant Harutyunian backed by pro-Western forces

The West-funded forces are behind Shant Harutyunian, according to the deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) parliamentary faction Hayk Babukhanian.

“He is backed by forces willing to cause a conflict out of nothing and to destabilize the situation in the country. These forces are funded by the West, which gives them grants. Their activities are aimed against our army, family, the church, and the state. I cannot name them, there are several hundred such forces,” he noted.

In his words, the majority of those involved in the November 5 incident on Mashtots Avenue – except for 4-5 persons – did not realize the danger of their own actions.

“Nevertheless, they all will be held accountable,” Hayk Babukhanian said.
