OSCE mediators don’t set hopes on Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting

The Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group don’t set any particular hopes on the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents’ summit that is scheduled for November, political scientist Sergei Minasian said at a meeting with journalists today.

In his words, the dynamics of the negotiating process on the Karabakh conflict will remain the same and ‘we will long witness negotiations for negotiations’ sake’.

Sergei Minasian said that in the process of negotiations the Azerbaijani side should understand that there is no military resolution to the conflict and Azerbaijan should give up its maximalist demands.
