Second day of Armenian president’s working visit to NKR

On the second day of his working visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and NKR President Bako Sahakian watched a ‘tank combination’ at the Tigranakert training ground, during which the best marksman and the best participants in other categories were determined.

According to the presidential press service, the presidents of two Armenian republics also watched a tactical exercise of combat shooting entitled ‘Putting the assault force of the defense army on the highest alert: the organization of defense, defensive actions, and the organization of offensives’, the important elements of which were actions of the assault force in the enemy’s rear and flanks. The exercise was following by a ceremony of giving awards to the most proficient servicemen.

Serzh Sargsyan also familiarized himself with the mining projects being implemented in Artsakh and the development prospects of mining industry. The Armenian president’s working visit to the NKR continues.
